At Mathified, we believe every student learns best when they feel supported, understood, and encouraged. Our team combines years of classroom experience, real-world leadership, and a passion for helping kids build confidence in math—one session at a time.

 

Grace — Lead Math Educator

Grace is a lifelong “math nerd” with a Master’s in Education, a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, and several years of classroom teaching experience. She homeschooled her children during the pandemic and understands how to break down difficult concepts into simple, supportive steps.

Before becoming a teacher, Grace spent over a decade in leadership roles for national brands like Gap and Starbucks, and later served as General Manager for a regional restaurant chain. She even ran her own restaurant business for 15 years, bringing the same commitment, discipline, and heart to Mathified that she brought to her teams.

Her mix of academic expertise, teaching experience, and real-world leadership makes her an exceptional mentor for students who need clarity, confidence, and consistency in math.

 

Lucia — Math & ELA Tutor

Lucia brings a fresh, student-centered approach to tutoring. She holds an Associate of Arts in Social Science, is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s in Education at UNLV, and excels in advanced math.

For the past four summers, she has worked with the Wahine Project, helping K–12 students build confidence through surf lessons, teamwork, and mentorship. Her ability to connect with younger learners is unmatched, students see her not just as a tutor, but as someone close to their world who genuinely understands them.

Still being a young student herself, Lucia brings energy, relatability, and a natural teaching talent that helps students feel comfortable, motivated, and engaged.
